The Impact Hockey Training (IHT) Program’s mission is to provide a professional, hockey-specific training curriculum for hockey players throughout the spring & summer months.
The IHT Program is ideal for committed and dedicated individuals playing any level of hockey from the Youth AAA & AA levels up to the Pros!
The IHT Spring, led by Sean Ferrell, starts in March and runs through Mid-June. This highly-specialized development program is limited to dedicated players who can commit to training 2-3x per week both on-and off-ice for at least ten (10) weeks. Players are expected to be self-starters, playing 2010 AAA or older, and passionate about playing, training, and watching hockey. This year there will only be one group of 4-8 players.

The IHT Summer program will start on July 10, 2023, and run for five (5) weeks ending on August 10, 2023. Training is four days a week (M-Th), providing both on- and off-ice training. Each week is a la carte, with four different aged training groups of 12-18 players.

Sean Ferrell, a 2019 Stanley Cup winning St. Louis Blues' coaching staff member, has relocated to New Jersey and will work alongside Bryce Salvador and the entire RSG Academy's development team to provide training and mentorship programming.
Sean spent the last nine years with the St. Louis Blues in many capacities: his last three years as an assistant coach with the six-plus previous years as a skills development and video coach. Throughout his career, Sean has been passionate about helping hockey players reach their potential regardless of their level of play. He is looking forward to mentoring players in the surrounding New Jersey area.
Sean will be a visible figure in all RSG Academy programming, including overseeing the Spring & Summer IHT hockey training running for fourteen weeks, March through June (Spring), and then five more weeks starting in July and concluding in August (Summer).
Our Impact Hockey Training program will provide players with a professionally run development program. IHT provides both on- and off-ice training components with an additional emphasis on individual player development.
