The IHT Mission

The Impact Hockey Training (IHT) Program’s mission is to provide a professional, hockey-specific training curriculum for dedicated hockey players throughout the summer months.

The IHT Program is ideal for individuals playing at the Pro, College, Major Junior, and AAA Midget levels.



The Impact Hockey Training program will start in the month of June and will run through August each year. There are two different groups consisting of only 12-14 players max.


All training is held at Bridgewater Sports Arena.

On-Ice Coaches

This is the list of the on-ice instructors that will rotate through the summer programming.



Bryce has 20+ years of experience training and developing hockey payers at all levels.  He had a 14-year NHL playing career and is the former Captain of the New Jersey Devils.

(*All of June, parts of July, & parts of August)



John has currently been working with hockey players primarily in the Tri-State for the past eight years.  Some of his clients include Jon Merrill (Montréal Canadiens) Tim Clifton (San Jose Sharks), Connor Clifton (Boston Bruins) and many others.


Off-Ice Coaches


Off-Ice training will be provided by the Annex Training Staff. Annex will train our IHT athletes out of the Bridgewater Sports Arena.

For over a decade, The ANNEX Team has trained countless amateur and professional level athletes.

Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson has nine years of experience as a sports performance specialist. A Penn State grad, he was named one of Gold Digest's 50 Best Golf-Fitness Professionals in America. Ryan has trained a range of athletes from young people to professionals.

Tim Laffey

Tim has over 15 years of experience training athletes. Prior to joining the Annex team, Tim worked as a Strength Coach for the Anaheim Angels MLB organization.  Tim has worked with 100s of professional athletes through all the professional sports.

Alison Grzyb

Ali Grzyb has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a Masters in Psychology. She draws upon her in-depth studies of sport specific movement to teach yoga, mobility and mindfulness to NHL teams, players, as well as youth and high school sports teams throughout North Jersey.
