The IHT Mission

The Impact Hockey Training (IHT) Program’s mission is to provide a professional, hockey-specific training curriculum for hockey players throughout the summer months.

The IHT Program is ideal for committed and dedicated individuals playing any level of hockey, from the Youth AA & AAA levels through Midget, Juniors, College, and Pros!

 

2023 SUMMER PROGRAM DETAILS

The IHT Summer program will start on July 10 and run for five (5) consecutive weeks ending on August 10. Training is four days a week (M-Th), providing both on- and off-ice performance training.

You can select one week, two weeks, or all five weeks; it's up to you. We have multiple offerings that accommodate all players. On-ice groups consist of 12-18 players with a 1:6 Coach to Player ratio.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR
SEAN FERRELL

Sean Ferrell, a 2019 Stanley Cup winning St. Louis Blues' coaching staff member, has relocated to New Jersey and will work alongside Bryce Salvador and the entire RSG Academy's development team to provide training and mentorship programming.

Sean spent the last nine years with the St. Louis Blues in many capacities: his last three years as an assistant coach with the six-plus previous years as a skills development and video coach.  Throughout his career, Sean has been passionate about helping hockey players reach their potential regardless of their level of play.  He is looking forward to mentoring players in the surrounding New Jersey area.

Sean will be a visible figure in all RSG Academy programming, including overseeing the Spring & Summer IHT hockey training running for fourteen weeks, March through June (Spring), and then five more weeks starting in July and concluding in August (Summer).


OFF-ICE DIRECTOR

Off-Ice training will be provided by the RSG Performance Academy located inside the Bridgewater Sports Arena.

Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson has eleven years of experience as a sports performance specialist. A Penn State grad, Ryan has trained a range of athletes, from youth to professionals, with a specialization in the sport of hockey.

Ryan has been with RSG Academy for three years and has the accolade of being named one of Gold Digest's 50 Best Golf-Fitness Professionals in America.
